Shipshewana Quilt Festival Announces Plans for 2021
Dear Members, Friends, Vendors & Supports, With public health and safety concerns at the highest of our priority list, The SQF will be moving forward with the 2021 plans of a scaled down version of the Shipshewana Quilt Festival. The Special Exhibit & Vendor Mall will host ‘The Sapphire Celebration’ by various quilters, seen at the 2019 International Quilt Festival, and a collection of picturesque quilts by Krista Moser, the creative force and inspiration behind ‘Krista Moser, The Quilted Life’.
We are excited to announce the addition of Quilt Academy to the 2021 event. Quilt Academy is designed to have the speakers move for the sessions instead of having participants moving. We have planned a morning and an afternoon session with intermission that will host four exciting quilting educators in each session.
Workshops will be conducted in the same manner they always have been, and we have a full cast and crew of people run them. We are anxious to get this journey underway.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to host a Quilt Show with contest quilts for 2021. Although this is just as devasating for us as it is for you, we appreciate your understanding and support during these trying circumstances.
The first 500 people to pre-enroll will receive our Welcome Packet. The Welcome Packet includes many gifts from industry-related supporters, local discount coupons, fat quarters, a souvenir pin and much more.
